Privacy Policy for CV Manager

CV Manager (“the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
CV Manager does not collect, transmit, or store candidate CVs, videos, notes, tags, or metadata on external servers.
All candidate information remains solely on the user’s device.
2. Data You Manage Locally
Users may import and store:
Candidate CVs (PDFs)
Videos (intro, demo, assessment)
Metadata such as salary expectations, notice period, or recruiter notes
This information stays entirely within the app’s local storage and is never sent to the developer or third parties.
3. Analytics and Anonymous Tracking
To improve performance and understand general app usage, CV Manager may collect anonymous analytics data, such as:
Frequency of feature usage
Device type and operating system version
Crash reports and performance metrics
This information does not include any candidate CVs, videos, or metadata and cannot identify individual users or candidates.
4. Sharing
Any sharing of CVs, videos, or metadata occurs only when you choose to send files through your own services (email, AirDrop, messaging apps).
The App does not monitor or log these transfers.
5. User Control
You may delete any or all stored data at any time inside the app.
Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored candidate information.
Analytics collection is anonymous and cannot be linked to any personal data.
6. Third-Party Services
Anonymous analytics may be processed by reputable third-party providers solely for performance monitoring and crash reporting.
No candidate data or personal identifiers are included.
7. Responsibility of Users
Recruiters and candidates are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before sharing personal data or video content through the App.
8. Security
The App uses the operating system’s secure storage mechanisms to protect local data.
Because we never transmit or store candidate information externally, there is no remote database to breach.
9. Changes to This Policy
If the privacy policy changes (for example, if optional cloud sync is introduced), users will be notified in-app and the policy will be updated before any new data collection begins.
